Know Your High Risk Voyager Zones

High Risk Voyager Travel Insurance is designed differently from standard travel insurance policies. Instead of relying on geographic regions, we have risk Zones.

Zones are not just based on geography but also consider other important factors like political instability and security concerns. Each area or region can then be assigned to a Zone based on it risk level, with Zone A being the most dangerous and Zone E presenting the least risk. If a situation develops in an area or region, where there is a change in the FCDO then we can move it into a new Zone to better reflect the new risk level, be it up or down.

This approach ensures that your coverage is aligned with the actual risks of your destination. To ensure you are properly covered, it is crucial to select the correct Zone when purchasing your policy.

Excluded Territories: Due to international sanctions, we're unable to provide policies for Trips to Belarus or Russia

Zone A

Single Trip Policies Only. Includes all countries/regions listed in Zone, B,C, D and E.

Zone A: Not Available on Annual Multi-Trip Cover.

*We're unable to provide cover to certain regions in Ukraine, these include: Crimea, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson. Zone B

Includes all countries/regions listed in Zone C, D and E.

Zone E

Any country or territory not listed in Zone A, B, C or D, or is a specifically excluded territory (such as USA or Canada).

 

We reserve the right to amend the Territorial Limit Zones, if in our sole opinion, there is a material sustained change in the risk profile within any such Territorial Limit Zone(s). We also reserve the right to charge an additional premium from a higher rated territory for a destination listed in a lower rated Territorial Limit Zone in the event of a short-term increase in risk profile. Any such rating or Territory Limit Zone amendments will not affect existing policies already purchased and will be implemented via the online policy administration system for any future High Risk Voyager Travel Insurance policies commencing from the date of such change.
